Liberal Democrats second in Stockport Constituency for first time ever!

Tories drop to third place!

The Lib Dems retained all their seats in the Stockport Constituency and collected more votes in the Brinnington & Central ward & Edgeley/Cheadle Heath wards.

In Brinnington & Central ward Chris Walker secured over 40.11% of the vote . An increase of 10% over last year & 20% over the last 24 months.

At this rate of progress Brinnington & Central ward will fall to the Lib Dems in 2008 !!

Andrew Rawling cut the Majority Masjority in Half and went from 558 Votes to 1139 a massive increase in his vote.
